Mandy Nott – Naturopath in Belconnen, Canberra
Hi, I’m Mandy, a skilled and passionate Naturopath in Belconnen, Canberra. I love working with clients to help them regain their health and wellbeing; and to maintain this throughout their lives.
I provide a safe and nurturing space, at my lovely holistic studio, where my clients can feel safe to tell their story, let it go, and begin their journey to long-term health and wellness.
I am passionate about natural therapies because I have experienced first-hand how they can change your life. After fifteen years of dealing with my own chronic pain and ill-health, I was able to heal myself holistically with Naturopathy. I went on to study Naturopathy, at the Canberra Institute of Technology, and haven’t looked back since.
I approach each client with the same intent – to educate them on achieving a greater sense of health and wellness; and to live like this for the rest of their lives.
From the very beginning, I work with my clients to set achievable health and wellness goals and create a tailored treatment plan for them that incorporates these goals.
I then offer my clients a combination of natural therapies, from: naturopathic medicine; herbal remedies; nutritional supplements; and diet and lifestyle education.
My continued education
I am truly dedicated to the ever-growing fields of Naturopathy and Holistic Health, and their incredible impact on a person’s health and wellbeing. With this in mind, I continue to expand my knowledge in these fields; and keep up-to-date with the latest scientific evidenced-based research, by attending regular seminars, doing webinars and reading journals.
I am also a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA).
If you would like to partner with a Naturopath who is truly committed to your long-term health and wellbeing, then call me today on 0421 082 946. You can also send me a message directly through my contact form. I look forward to hearing from you.
Here’s to your health!
Fifteen years ago, I was suffering from chronic back pain and inflammatory arthritis. Even after taking pain medication and anti-inflammatories, I would wake during the night in agony, not being able to move because my back would go into spasms.
During the day, it hurt to walk because of the pain in my feet and knees. The anti-inflammatories and pain medication left me feeling tired and flat, and had a terrible impact on my gut. My rheumatologist recommended that I go on stronger medication, but after reading the side effects of this medication, I decided that I didn’t want to go down that path just yet.
So, I made an appointment to see a Chiropractor, who was able to improve my back significantly after just a few sessions. He also suggested I see a Naturopath to test for food intolerances which could be contributing to my inflammation. It turned out I had a number of intolerances, which I immediately removed from my diet. I also made significant changes to the food I was eating every day. My health began to improve almost immediately, and I was amazed at how much better I felt.
This turn-around in my health and wellbeing motivated me to study Naturopathy at the Canberra Institute of Technology. I wanted to learn everything I could to heal my body naturally; and help others do the same.
I no longer suffer from chronic back pain and my inflammatory arthritis is in remission. My passion is to help other people improve their health, so they can enjoy life and feel energized again – just as I have been able to do.
