Hi, I’m Mandy and I offer Naturopathy and Holisitic Nutrition in Belconnen, Canberra. So, what does that mean? That means that I work with nature’s resources to bring about healing and cleaner living for my clients.

Firstly, I follow the principles of Naturopathy to help me understand what my client’s health ailments are; and then I prescribe a tailored blend of herbs, and any nutritional supplements required, to assist my clients with their healing and recovery; and finally, I work with my clients to create a diet and lifestyle plan, based on the principles of Holistic Nutrition, that will bring them greater health, energy and wellbeing.

For me, personally, the Holistic Nutrition component is crucial. So many people are feeling unwell because of what they are eating. One of my main goals, as a Naturopath, is to help my clients have a greater understanding of the principles of nutrition and healthy, balanced eating.

What is Holistic Nutrition?

The classical Greek physician Hippocrates famously said: “let food be thy medicine and thy medicine be thy food.” These days, we say ‘we are what we eat’.

Whichever you use, the premise is the same – eating healthy, nutritious food will have you feeling healthy and well.  It is this belief that forms that foundation of Holistic Nutrition – a complete way of improving physical, emotional and spiritual health through diet, that combines ancient wisdom with modern knowledge.
